arashi
Arashi (which literally translates to storm) is a Japanese idol group under the Japanese talent agency Johnny & Associates. The group was formed September 15, 1999 with five members consisting of Ohno Satoshi, Sakurai Sho, Aiba Masaki, Ninomiya Kazunari and Matsumoto Jun. They had their official CD debut November 3, 1999 and have released chart-topping singles/albums since then. Aside from their music career, the members also work on TV series, movies, variety programs, commercials, and stage plays.

Arashi Generation was created and is maintained by cheshiredoll as her alternate tumblr where she would post random Arashi stuff every now and then. After eons of brooding over what to do with the increasing Arashi-related posts on her primary tumblr, she has finally decided to dump them here instead so as to avoid bombarding uninterested friends on both tumblr and twitter with fangirl stuff.
